iLife 2011

It’s been a minute…but I’m back!!

I have a new fascination with social media. It took me a while to really get into it but the more I use it the more i love it!

With a few clicks of the mouse, you can be connected to someone on the other side of the world.  Through chat rooms and discussion boards, you’re able to find a common bond with someone thousands of miles away.  Thanks to social media, a budding entrepreneur is able to expand their customer base by hundreds of thousands instead of only catering to a small number in their local area.

Social media has changed the way we interact with each other and though we may physically see each other less frequently, we’re still connected.

When I speak of social media, the first company that comes to mind is Apple.  The recent passing of Mr. Steve Jobs has made me reflect on all that has changed in such a short period of time.

With the invention of all the ‘i’ products, our world will never be the same. He helped propel and expedite the motion of technology.  He had the foresight to see beyond the present horizon.

Steve Jobs will be missed by his family and friends but hopefully they will find some comfort in knowing that he has touched the lives of millions perhaps even billions and has altered our lives forever.

The following has been inspired by Steve Jobs and all he has done. He never let anyone hold him down.  R.I.P. Steve Jobs, your legacy will live on.

  1. Pretty great post. I simply stumbled upon your blog and wished to
say that I have truly enjoyed surfing around your weblog posts.
In any case I will be subscribing on your feed and I’m hoping you write once more very
    soon!

    1. Thank you so much! Your words mean a lot to me – especially at this time in my life. This message was much needed as it lets me know that people are reading and enjoying what I have to say. I’m going through ‘something’ but need to get back to my passion of writing. Again, thank you for taking the time to write a comment. KSD
